Cathing up.....

Okay so I have not been doing very good on staying up to date on the blog....

Okay so this week has been good for the most part...but the last two weeks Weston got the stomach bug and he had it for over ten days, yes throwing up the whole bite for 10 days!!!! It was not much fun and yes we where getting pretty worried about him, we had made a trip to the urgent care and a trip to the doctor and where about to make another trip to the doctor and he finally showed signs of getting better....but he left a trail of sick people behind him...nobody from our immediate household thank goodness...but my in-laws came down last weekend..and by this time I was sure he was better, but my mother-in-law got sick. Weston went over to visit our dear sweet neighbor..who he just adores...and she got sick. His school teacher did not show up one day she had it too!!! I felt soo badly for everyone. SO needless to say all the weight he had gained he lost and now we are having to retrain him to eat. Not fun plus now he has learned that if he does not want to eat what I have for him he throws up!!! Nice little trick there he learned...and I do not know how to stop that one...so we may be heading to a more intense eating therapy in our near future.

But two big events did happened around here.....and yes we know this is a year or more behind the "normal" child...but Weston now has a big boy bed. He loved his crib, never got out and with all of his sensory stuff we thought it would send him for a major loop if he changed his bed...but it did not and he is doing great in it ( i am keeping my fingers crossed though). He really does not even know he can get out of it right now and I really do not want him to figure that out...and the other one is that he is now fully potty trained. It took us a long time to accomplish this...but we did!!!! And from what his teacher tells us that is huge for these kiddos like him to do this....in fact he is the youngest one in his class and the only one potty trained.

I know I have not mentioned Taylor in this little post....well the next post is all about him. He needed a post all to him self and I will fill you in with all that is going on with him.
