What a Holiday......

Well we did not have the Christmas we had planned on...that is all I can say. Weston had been sick the two weeks prior to Christmas, once with a stomach bug and then he got the flu. I thought I was in the clear because I had a flu shot. Well I was wrong. I started getting sick the week before Christmas and thought I was getting better by Friday as we where packing up to leave. But I was wrong, I did nothing but get worse. So Christmas Eve morning my mother-in-law said I had to go to the doctor and see if there was anything I could take. They ran a flu test and sure enough that is what I had. We had to call my doctor here to see what I could take and everyone told Christopher to get me into bed and leave me there. Well you know that is very hard to do with a toddler...so Christopher pack himself and I up and we came back home with out Weston. So we spent Christopher without any family and with out our baby!!! We where so sad.
But I did try to get a lot of rest, EXCEPT I came down with this other major symptom that lead me to think I was going to go out of my mind. I started itching all over my body and this is an itch like nothing I had ever experienced before. After reading in my baby book and seeing that I needed to call the Doctor immediately...and of course this is Christmas day!!!! The nurse said I could go to the hospital or try to wait it out till in the morning and just come in. Well I waited it out and I should have gone to the hospital. I literally itched all of my skin off that night. I have been diagnosed with Obstetric Cholestasis. This only occurs like in every 5 out of 1000!!! But long story short my liver in not acting right and I itch and baby Taylor will need to come sooner than we had planned. My doctor is going to try to get me to Feb. 1 but that is it. Taylor will be here right at 3-4 weeks early, if he makes it that long.
So now I am in a panic mode if trying to get everything ready for our new baby boy, all the while keeping up with my family and all their needs. I am on a medicine and I think as for today it is starting to work and I am able to tolerated the itching and wear clothes which is a big plus, I had be living in PJ's!! So I hope and pray for our baby boy to be all right and that we can make it just a few more weeks.

I have wanted to talk to you the last few times I have seen you at church, but have not had the chance. Let me know if there is anything you need.
